Torrance

Torrance was diagnosed with aortic stenosis at five weeks old, after doctors detected a heart murmur.

If you want to have a smile in your day you just need to spend a few minutes with our little ambassador Torrance.

Torrance was diagnosed with aortic stenosis at five weeks old, after doctors detected a heart murmur. His dad Paul also lives with the same condition, which they had originally thought wasn’t genetic.

Torrance faced his first major heart surgery when he was just five months old, and will continue to go through more surgery as he gets older.

A heart condition can’t stop this little man in his mission to have fun each day.

Torrance is a ball of energy who loves rugby. He says that his dad is the best rugby player ever and will bring home a cup one day as big as the world cup.

Torrance also loves dancing. The Cure Kids staff were delighted to see his marathon dance effort at Ticket to Hope this year.

Torrance lives with his dad, mum, older brother Tane and dog Ruby.
