A special Babich Wines release to celebrate Cure Kids’ 50th anniversary
Cure Kids is excited to announce a special collaboration with Babich Wines, Glengarry and Aramex to mark our 50th anniversary. David Babich, the family’s third-generation wine grower, has worked with his team to create a limited-edition 2019 Cabernet Merlot to help celebrate our Golden Jubilee and 50 years of critical research into child health.
All proceeds from the 50th Anniversary wine will go towards funding future Cure Kids research, ensuring that Cure Kids can continue to improve the health of Kiwi kids for another 50 years and beyond.
Babich Wines is one of New Zealand’s favourite family owned and operated wineries, producing a stunning range of wines out of its Auckland, Hawke’s Bay and Marlborough vineyards. However, this limited-edition wine is a bit more special than your standard bottle.
“Throughout our 50 years of operation, the work of Cure Kids has impacted so many New Zealand families, and we’re delighted that David and the Babich family is kindly supporting us in the celebration of this wonderful milestone,” says Frances Benge, Cure Kids CEO.
“The impact of our research over the past 50 years has been profound for the lives of our children. But none of our work would be possible without the incredible support of our fundraising heroes, individuals and generous families such as the Babich Family.”
A limited range of stock is available for those who want to mark our 50th anniversary and lend their support. Being bottled on the 26th August, the wine will be made available for pre-sale on September 6th 2021 before making its way onto Glengarry’s online store on the 15th. Delivery is free of charge thanks to the support of Aramex.
“We’re so grateful to these three amazing partners for their generosity and look forward to the great research we’ll be able to support with the funding it provides, says Frances Benge
Cure Kids extends its heartfelt thanks to David and the entire Babich family for their generosity and ingenuity in creating Cure Kids’ celebration wine. We’d also like to extend our gratitude to Aramex and Glengarry for supporting this exciting initiative.
