Red Nose Day
Cure Kids' annual flagship fundraiser
About Red Nose Day
In 2017, New Zealanders joined forces to raise over $1 million through fundraisers, partner activations, an outstanding gala dinner and many more activities.
We saw new (and exciting) initiatives, such as the CEO’s Jump for Red Nose challenge, where businesses raised funds to throw their CEOs off Auckland’s Sky Tower. Our very own CEO, Frances Benge, championed this by taking the plunge on behalf of the team!
Our Awesome Partners
As always, our wonderful partners showed their tremendous support. Qantas, one of our valued partners, ran a one-of-a-kind Red Nose ball pit at Albany Mall which attracted hundreds of onlookers to dive in and have fun for a donation. The team at Briscoes distributed our novelty noses nation-wide and helped us to spread the awareness of our campaign. Key influencers such as Jessica Quinn, How to Dad’s (Jordan Watson), Viarni Bright, Zac Franich and many others joined us for Dare and Share Red Balloon Challenges, wearing unique red noses to spread the word. Support even came in from across the globe from stars like Julian Dennison and Ryan Reynolds, who supported our cause through social media.
Red Nose Gala Dinner
The extraordinary event brought our supporters together for a night of surprises, featuring the Incognito performers, who made it extra special while shining the light on important child health needs across the nation. Thank you for the generous support and contributions towards the improvement of health outcomes for children and their families.
