Childhood Development and Learning Difficulties
Isla is an ambassador for Cure Kids. She lives with type 1 diabetes, a condition that affects approximately 2500 children and youth, aged 0 – 18, in New Zealand. While type 1 diabetes is currently incurable, there are treatments available, but unfortunately all have a considerable impact on a person’s day-to-day life.
